mmapper and powtty problem

Post by Hamfell »

I've been using mmapper 2.0.4 Final with powtty 1.02 using Win XP quite successfully but suddenly tonight I got a "Network error: software caused connection abort" message and mmapper closed down?!
This has got me stumped since I have done nothing in between sessions...AFAIK

Any advice would be gratefully received. :)

There are bugs with the mapper when you run it in mapping mode (solution is to save, and save often, when you are in mapper mode). I haven't had the chance to track them all down, but the mapper is very stable when you run it in play mode.

Thanks for the advice guys!
Reinstalling mmapper 2.0.4 didn't work but installing 2.0.3 seems to have solved the problem so far....fingers crossed.
Still don't understand why 2.0.4 just suddenly stopped working...

No idea, maybe it is because of automatic windows updates ?
I remember whenever windows starts updates , something wrong happens to my computer :p that's why I disabled this feature

Now I download/ install manually windows updates only when needed :p
