Re: 11 innovation lessons from creators of World of Warcraft
I didn't find this article very good and its not even accurate. Seems like the author was paid or plays the game. WoW is not a pioneer in the MMORPG world, and isent even outside of the MMORPG formula we have had for the last 10 years beginning with UO and eq.

Re: Too many skills, Not enough Pracs
You should at least either max earthquake or bolt before you go onto colour spray/fireball. Max earthquake to solo quake xp, or bolt if you group a lot.(both is probably best before those 2 offensive spells). I would then say practice colour spray first as its usuable first and can provide valuable ...

Re: After reading through a number of guides...
Like everyone said get more strength. I would strongly advise against getting endurance or missile except for the first levels.(maybe maybe a few practices in missile if you were going to be a cleric, but even then i would just as soon skip it because it may feel faster from 1-10 to xp as a thief bu...

Re: Recent changes, a bright future ahead
I think that the fact that the playerbase has a voice in the new changes is essential and was very well done. I guess i mean i like how the new forum and setup seems to be consistently receptive. I can't say i understand why thieves were changed more then just hide, but i really like that there are ...

Re: Time Sinks
I love that mume has seasons and time. I am a little confused, I don't often find myself waiting for a guild to open, or a shop or most of those things. A focus however i find a huge annoying "time sink". The times I do wait for a shop to open I don't have trouble running and doing something else mo...

Re: Collar and Fur Absorption
Collars have no effect on absorb for body or head. Although I could be wrong but I dont know how you would test it or find out without having a ainur. The only collars in the game have a max hp abs of 1 point and while its % is around 90 i believe I think that the .9 hp would be very difficult to na...

Re: Lowb question about warrior character skills
Depends on the type of character you want to make and its respective stats. Id say stick with a pure warrior for its simplicity and experiment with other characters. Max your weapon skill, endurance, and max bash. Get above 75 % in ride if not more, get at least 100% wilderness. Swim and climb need ...

Re: [Project] Supermobs
Ok, thieves are underpowered enough wobbler this idea about making things less stabbable seems like its based on the opinon of someone who dosent like thieves not a actual imbalance. Wobbler your being kind of dense, making things have more hp or with your method making players weaker dosent make a ...

Re: [Project] Supermobs
I think that its really cool your doing this, and one of the things that comes to mind is however difficult it may be to kill a smob often the most fun ones are those that can be done in a variety of unique ways involving multiple types of classes. Balrog isent that cool to me because basically you ...

Re: What would you change?
I would change the penalties for death, mob death should be reduce to 1/5 of a level in XP plus some (significant) amount of TP. I'm not sure how I would change age loss for mob death but I think something should be done because it can make a lot of characters simply unplayable. I think this would l...

I think it would be a mistake to make more then 4 or 5 more sub forums because it just divides the discussions too thinly.
