I think it's safe to assume the changes were made because people who don't play the game anymore were sick of the bitching from all the people that don't play thief and think thieves are all unkillable. The changes in progress are not made because of people who don't play the game are sick of whini...

Well I think it's frivolous to talk about TP woes for pukes BNs and Trolls, because it's not difficult to tp those races really (especially pukes, there's not even any point in getting 10k before you start xping). However, Orc TP requirements imo are ridiculous, and only hurts the population.

Yeah speaking of realism I think it's also ridiculous that some characters can walk around shooting fireballs out their arses. Don't preach 'realism' on mume especially if you're a bn mage. At first I was skeptical because I play mostly thieves, however after testing it out with escape, it is pretty sweet. In regards to the 4 second no-sneak thing, I have a feeling it will affect poorly linked people more than anything.

Yeah because it's impossible/difficult to spoof a country code or use a shell right?.....Now I know why Nienor was sending me ambiguous tells while she was sitting in rdell this morning while I was getting ready for work..talking about "what I've done" etc.
