Re: OB, def and damage

Also speculation, but maybe size of character affects bashing of doors. If not, it should IMO!

Re: OB, def and damage

AFAIK every 5% increase in skill gives 1 ob. So 101 % skill and 104 % is same ob, but getting 105 % you would gain (only) 1 ob. I don't know how much it affects the damage.

Re: powwow spell timers (Jahara)

I see similar spam only the first time the variables are created. After that there is no spam for me, if I save the powwow config file. Other than that, I would check the different #option settings.

Re: Powtty Help please!

Funny anyway that I have that exact same binding in use. Without shift it's open ${door} and with shift open ${door2}. I have bound it with ctrl to unlock+open and close+lock. KP+ I have bound to plain 'open exit' and KP-to 'close exit'. Works for me. KP+ and KP- without modifiers should work in pow...

Re: Powtty Help please!

I remember that I couldn't make it work in powtty. That was one of the reasons I moved on to use powwow (in linux).

Re: What targets should I be going for?

I also think that there is nothing wrong in going to GH area for xp as lowbie/newbie. Why not use the huge area you have available. About the robber part, you are right that normal hack/slash tactic isn't going to work out very well :) Just wanted to say that it's possible, no need for mega eq. Alth...

Re: What targets should I be going for?

It seems level 8 warrior in leather was able to solo 2 robbers in row. I had to test it just to prove Androg wrong. :geek:

Re: MMapper 2.0.4 Beta Released

Hey,

is there any way to playback powwow movies so that it also shows the movement and the room you are in in the MMapper? It would be kind of cool feature IMO. Maybe it's already possible, if so, please tell me how.

Re: What targets should I be going for?

Regarding to robber, I only copied Jahara, it's not my fault

However what I meant was different human thief kinda mobs. One should soon find if it's too hard or not.
I also recommend consider command, but sometimes it can be misleading. I definitely want that needle...

Re: I can't stick with one character

It's fun to try different characters! I do that all the time, only difference is I xp them up to lvl 30 something, and only then get bored. :) My first character was man warrior (was about level 8 or something), it decayed long ago, then I made dwarf cleaver which I managed to get to level 30 someth...

Re: What targets should I be going for?

*Agree* Wobbler. When you are beginning to get not so much of xp on the same mobs, it's time to change the area and mobs you are xping on. If you want to make it "safe" way, there is lots of xp towards Grey Havens for that level. Wolves, oxes, brown bears, robbers and thugs are good xp. Just don't l...

Re: Powwow Questions

Thanks! I tested it, I think it's even better than the powtty monospace. Powtty monospace leaves too much space between lines after testing it for a while. ;)

Re: Powwow Questions

I just yesterday tested some new font types for powwow (in linux). I have been using fixed font for some time now, but wanted to test some truetype fonts. I used to use powtty before and I always liked the font it had. So, I downloaded the font and installed it and actually managed to make it work i...
