What's the average or rough amount of time teleport keys last until decaying nowadays?

They decay? I thought they lasted forever. Barring a major new mume release/etc My mage is still fairly new though, so I'm not 100% sure, hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

Originally they were permanent, but at some point it got changed. My guess is they last 12 rl hours (MUME month).

Any way to tell when they've decayed? Or you just try to teleport to them and end up somewhere else?

Kinda sucks to have to re-get keys each login... i guess that explains some bn requests i've seen as troll now.

I recommend scrying it first if old key.

Teleporting is not the best way to test them. You could end up in a death trap, you know.
Scry is probably the only safe way.
