Need advice on a Cleric stat reroll.

I currently have a l23 Cleric who's been sitting in retirement for several years who I'm thinking of dusting off and playing again, always remember it being very fun to play the class.

I created him with Base Stats (Half-Elf):
Str:12 Int:16 Wis:19 Dex:15 Con:12 Wil:14 Per:12

and I've been thinking more Wil would probably be necessary so I'm thinking of stat rerolling to:

Str:11 Int:16 Wis:19 Dex:15 Con:13 Wil:15 Per:10 (Difference of 85)

I'd gain more survivability with the added con and wil but I'd be dropping my track with the loss of Per down to 95% from 103%.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Stats depend very much on your play style and what you want to do with your character. There is really no such thing as perfect stats. A combination that's good for one player might not fit to another one at all.

If you prefer going around solo and getting store+quake, then it's perhaps good to have higher hps (con) and better fleeing ability (dex). In my eyes, however, a cleric is mostly a group char and I'd rather rely on a warrior bodyguard than have high dex / con myself.

What I'd suggest is to go for higher mentals instead. Maybe something like this:
Str:12 Int:17 Wis:19 Dex:13 Con:12 Wil:15 Per:11 (Difference of 76)

Your track should stay about the same, but spells would get more deadly.

Interesting, might just go that way, thanks!
