Following an official survey of the best practices at its member inns, the
Guild of Innkeepers revised its regulations to improve customer experience
for members of the Free People as well as Minions.
Accordingly, should the innkeeper-on-duty be unable to serve its customers
for any reason whatsoever, an apprentice innkeeper must always be available
to provide at least basic service.
News 2461:
Due to the additional cost of the extra apprentices (news 2460) some innkeepers
regrettably had to slash their security and personal defence training budget.
--- Out of context: as long as "rent" required the physical presence of an
innkeeper, several innkeepers had to be made ultra-strong (in some cases
stronger than a Balrog...) to ensure that they would be available most if
not all of the time. Now that the original problem has been addressed,
these innkeepers have returned to being "normal" mobs. We made a couple of
exceptions where the innkeeper has strategic importance to gameplay.
