Re: Any future ahead? I guess not.
Yes Thifs are playable. BUT you have to modify their praccs and stats. So why weren't we given a free praccreset or even a free smaller stat change. I agree on the sneak issue.

Any future ahead? I guess not.
Well, this will unfortunately be written when I am not in my best mood since I just died horribly due to what happened almost a year ago. Unlike before, see the thread “Recent changes, any future ahead?” I am now a lot more negative and I just want to say that I am really disappointed with how manag...

Recent changes, any future ahead?
Today it is 6 months and 1 day since Gothmog posted the oncoming of many changes except the ones that changed thieves. I just want to ask once again, what so many already asked, is something else going to change? I'm sure you wanted something good to come out of these changes but so far the practica...

Re: Recent changes, a bright future ahead
I think that noone was was more right than Razoor who somewhere said that this change will just encourage cowardish stab and run tactics. Also, It seems to have encouraged the tactic "always call bkup" as soon as you spot a thief and just spam it dead. I haven't had a 1v1 since the change.

Just a question
In my humble experience the skills sneak and backstab has also changed. Did something change in the process of changing escape and the other stuff that we don't know of? I have a very close to legend orc that has 108% sneak and stab. To me it seems I stab and sneak a lot worse after the change in co...

Re: Recent changes, a bright future ahead
I personally might not be ultra happy bout the current thief situation (although I certanly don't think it sux completely either). However, I'm very happy bout the fact that "things are happening".

Re: Travel Points
Imho you should learn new areas. = Travel.
Tps are only annoying when you know areas and only travel to get points, but on the other hand, then they are not so hard.

Re: Test-mume feedback on scout changes
As Voravith pointed out, zorcs dont even get escape. I unless you give that skill to zorcs this changes seems very much like killing a whole race..

With that attitude everyone should have the same link also...
I'm simply saying that in my opinion pk and all of mume would be even more fun if it was made more "realistic" from this point of view. I'm still for tell- and narrate-rooms and nonarrate general game.

Re: Roleplaying within MUME - Remember to roleplay?
As for the roleplaying part I agree with Parrafin However I believe the game would be very interesting if we removed narrates and tells. To prevent the effect that we would all feel very isolated one could have certain rooms were narrate and tell would work. But that would only be possible in these ...
