Not I, I havn't trained off anything to prac escape and I don't see it overly affecting me, which is why I'm surprised about Ugurz's reaction.Fankil wrote:Talking about top-end-scouts et. al, aren't you guys the ones barking the loudest?

Re: Recent changes, a bright future ahead
I have to agree with the people who are saying scouts need to max a skill to make them work properly. Having 101% sneak (combo warscout) becomes so tedious (in pk and xp) I changed back to normal scout. But if you changed that, where would scouts put their pracs? (don't say escape, shh) It's pretty ...
Re: Link cap
Temporary lameness, lol. Skippy's only temporarily lame because he's only sunripped one troll. But he's found a good balance.
Doesn't work does it?
(I bet Edvard doesn't understand and if he can he won't be able to prove he's only temporarily lame).

Re: Link cap
Then why cry and moan about lame players when you're one of them. You are a hypocrite.
Re: Safespots
I like the strength of all the safespots around rd, priest/lb/cara/brolg/ohurk/drooling/dt. They arn't too tough and pretty easy for certain classes to solo.

Re: Recent changes, a bright future ahead
If the change was meant to decrease a thieves ability to fight with sneak in a closed in space or just make it easier for thieves to be spammed down in bottlenecks, then it was a success. If the change was meant to decrease the overall survivability of thieves, it's too soon to judge. Personally, it...

Re: Testmume feedback on scout changes revision 2
Razoor has the most reliable information and knowledge about thieves. He's my goto guy when I have a question. So I trust what he says. I'm not sure if that was sarcasm or not... I understand he used to play thief a lot (unless he's playing one now). -Kenzu It was not sarcastic, he is probably the ...

Re: Link cap
Edvard is just a complete twat, Eorberl thats all. He's one of those guys that never admits he overkills/linkless kills/traps/plays stabbers/has a fast link/has the best eq/storeport/charm abuser/sleeper. Basically he's the under dog king. Every victory he has, he's the shit and noone expected him t...
Re: Bug forum
So we still go through mume to report bugs, we can't make new topics in that forum for new bugs?
Re: Link cap
Only for you Edvard or bashtrap you. Either one on either side. Then I'd gac, burn, wait for you to come back. Amazing the amount of people saying it would hurt the game, after a month noone would notice. The faster people are a disgrace and it's hilarious that Wobbler thinks that link didn't make t...

Re: Testmume feedback on scout changes revision 2
I agree with Wobbler that there should be some sort of way to see if you've canceled hide. It was somewhat surprising on testmume to see what did and did not cancel. Smiling doesn't reveal you to a player in the room, but licking your mouth and smiling does. Running into a wall doesn't reveal (it d...

Re: Keep at bay
I fought Stolb in skeletalwarrior-mail eq, as lvl 35ish Zaug, black metal shield and giant spear. We both started healthy, he was wounded when i was hurt, but then i felt too lame to use keep at bay so i started attacking which made me loose. I died when he was bad. He was lvl 100 in fullset. I alm...
Re: Link cap
Seriously though I get what you're saying. I've just never found the 'I'm suffering so you should suffer too' argument very interesting. People only suffer because others have better links. If the links are even noone suffers. The speed isn't the problem, it's the difference in speeds between all t...
Link cap
Can it even be done? This would end the never ending link discussion and it would even out the playing field considerably. I thought I may aswell post a topic about it and get an answer because I don't even know if it's possible. It goes without saying that if it were possible, I'd vote for it to be...

Re: Testmume feedback on scout changes revision 2
What is this fixing? Why are thieves the only class being nerfed? Why can't you fix it so you can stab sleeping targets whether you are sneaking or not (i'm sick of getting the you've been caught by surprise message on a sleeping victim). Now everyone will spam flush because it works like old search...

Re: Test-mume feedback on scout changes
Whats the reasoning behind the change? What are we trying to fix here? I don't really see what this is going to fix. Wimpy is a big problem, if you eat a bash while trying to escape you might die as a thief because wimpy isn't maxed and it won't help reduce bash duration. This change would drastical...

Not being able to use commands while escape goes through is unavoidable i guess.

Re: Test-mume feedback on scout changes
My observations: I think you have less defence when trying to escape (free hit basically?). Escape vs multiple targets is bad. I failed 3 escapes in a row against the commanding patrol in moria near hwains/shaghosh zone before having to flee. I don't like how when you escape your enemy can see which...
