Since this seems to be very hard for some people to understand, I think a
clarification is needed.
If you see a linkless opponent you have two choices:
1. Kill it.
2. Ignore it and move on.
We do not force people to kill their enemies - fleeing is also accepted.
Things you cannot do:
* Stay in the room of the linkless enemy, protecting it from attacks.
* Cure the enemy.
* Kill or threaten to kill somebody who kills the enemy.
Doing things like this is a clear case of breaking RULES INTERRACE, and it
will result in a demotion (or perhaps being placed on Sauron's list if you're
a whitie).
I know there is a sort of codex of honour among the PK population of MUME,
and that it's considered really bad to kill somebody linkless. So don't.
Just move on. Pretend the enemy looked scary and you just ran past it.
DO NOT DEFEND THE ENEMY. DO NOT AVENGE THE DEATH OF AN ENEMY.
