The logic surrounding the type of death a player receives (mob, pk, or
environmental) has been updated to give more consideration to the source of
overall damage inflicted on the victim, rather than relying solely on the
last hit. Please consult
help death for more information.
This is a work in progress as we seek to balance maintaining the
appropriate risk level while avoiding overly punitive scenarios. We
encourage players to share feedback on any unexpected or unusual behaviour.

You can no longer abbreviate
water in drink water
from rooms that let you drink without having an object to drink from.

The orcs at the main entrance of Orgolk will now block players from going
down (in) rather than leaving (north). The doors at both entrances are also
noblock now. (Rogon)

Black breath will now remove breath of briskness on its victims.

You will now see if characters are swimming or boating:
Samwise is swimming here.
Frodo is here in a canoe.
