Brown bear

Brown bears are aggressive, evil level 12 mobs found in various places around Arda, often hibernating in caves. Their corpses can be butchered to produce a brown bear fur and some meat.

Seven feet long and several hundred pounds, the brown bear carries with it a
thick brown fur that protects it from most harm. Its long claws are used mostly
for digging in roots and excavating the burrows of small mammals. A very keen
sense of smell makes up for its mediocre sight and hearing. The bear consumes a
wide variety of food, such as of berries, grass, fish, roots and even some
other mammals such as the moose.
