Brown fungi are evil level 13 plants found in Fangorn. Although they are not aggressive, they will assist other fungi in combat. They can release poisonous spores.
A brown striated fungus hangs here, clinging to a tree trunk. >examine fungus A foul smelling fungus, brown with white strips, hangs on a tree. Its roots plunging deep into the trunk, the bark around the fungus forming a big knot seeping with resin. Judging by the size of the fungus, the tree will not survive for long.
