MUME Help
CHANGE PAGER, PAGER, PAGING
change pager simple
|mume
The pager is a feature that controls how
MUME displays large amounts of text; e.g.,
view wizlist
or
help -v help
.
The default setting is called simple
; it breaks the output into
"pages" the size of your screen and gives you a
prompt that allows you to move forwards or backwards a
page at a time.
You can modify your screen height with the
change height
command. Using
change height 65535
will disable the
pager.
Users with clients that support the special
MUME Client Protocol (e.g.,
powwow
and
powtty
) can select the
mume
option to instruct MUME
to send paged text to whatever program you've instructed your
client to use.
Note: Powwow users will need to set the
POWWOWPAGER
environment variable and remember to
#init
before this feature will work.
