CHANGE CLASS, CLASS

On MUME, a character's class depends on what skills the character decided to learn. This is different from many other games, where the class you pick decides which skills you can learn.

At any time, you can type change class and see a list of titles that match your skills, race, alignment, history, and so on. change class <name> to choose a new class. Your choice only affects your "whois" and where you appear on who warr, who cleric, etc.

When you practice new skills or you gain/lose levels, your class might be automatically changed, if the one you selected earlier doesn't fit you anymore.

For example:

  > change class
  Available classes:
    Adventurer  Heroine  Matriarch  Priestess  Sage  Scholar

  You current class is Adventurer.
  > change class sage
  Ok.
