Yew longbow

The yew longbow is a missile weapon. It is worth around 9 gold and 19 silver, and is sold by most weaponsmiths. A yew longbow is also awarded for completing the trapper's quest.

This marvellous piece of carpentry has been carefully carved from a single,
dark-reddish branch of the yew tree, well-known amongst foresters for its
incredible flexibility and pliancy. At each end of the seven foot long bow
you see a sharp notch, to which a tough string has been tightened.
