Piercing weapons are one of the weapon types found in MUME. These weapons usually have a low strength requirement and are mostly used by thieves.

- black runed dagger (BRD) - good damage, parry, good db, spellsave
- nasty orkish fang - good damage
- elven dagger - same as fang
- barbed fang

- slender dagger - decent damage, high offensive bonus, lower parry
- sharp thorn - decent damage, parry, efficient vs. undead
- double-edged eket - decent damage, parry, when enchanted it gives good parry bonus
