The hunting knife is a piercing weapon that can also be used to butcher corpses when wielded or worn on a belt. It is worth around 3 silver and is sold by most weaponsmiths.
A small hunting knife lies on the ground. >examine knife The blade is about 5 inches long, curved at the tip. Along the back of the blade is a serrated portion, perhaps to cut bone. >consider knife It is a hunting knife. This piercing weapon can be wielded one-handed. It is awful while attacking and poor while defending; its speed is very fast, and it inflicts very little damage upon hitting. It weighs a couple of ounces.
