You may only cast this spell on yourself, and its effect is to create a magical armour that can absorb parts of the damage you receive in battle.

The armour lasts up to around a day, or until it has been been worn down by battle.

This spell is less effective the more conventional armour you are wearing. The effect of certain spells will also be reduced by the armour spell, but others are completely unaffected.

It takes a brilliant mind to master this spell, and it helps to have deep insight.
