COMBAT, FIGHTING

For your character to successfully survive combat with the fierce creatures of Arda, it is important that you as a player feel confident with the use of the different commands used to fight.
When reading a help file, check out the "See Also" section at the bottom.

HELP HIT How to attack somebody, or something.
HELP FLEE How to boldly run away from a fight.
HELP BASH Good thing to do if you want your enemy to stay.
HELP ASSIST If a friend is in trouble, why not help him out?
HELP DISENGAGE If a friend got into more trouble than he can handle.
HELP RESCUE If you can handle your friend's trouble.
HELP WEAPONS A brief overview of different weapon classes.
HELP HPS How much injury can your character survive?
HELP MOOD You can control how aggressively you wish to fight.
HELP PROTECT If someone in your group needs a bodyguard.
HELP BANDAGE A way of soothing the pain from wounds.

What is MUME?

MUME, Multi-Users in Middle-earth, is a multiplayer text-based online game based upon J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth during the epic wars of the late Third Age between the forces of the Dark Lord and the armies of the Free peoples. MUME is completely at no cost and has been continuously running, expanded, and remastered by a community of volunteers since 1991.
