This is a very powerful spell which may be used to make a temporary connection between two locations far removed from each another. It has a limited range and cannot be used within a city. The spell requires a direction in which to open the portal, and an identification of the destination - which you can get by any locate spell. While the portal is open, anyone can enter portal and get magically transported to the other side.

It takes a brilliant mind to master this skill, and it helps to have an iron will.
