The cities of the Free People have, over the years, gradually expanded with
the addition of new legend homes. Many of these homes have not seen use in
decades. Rather than adding even more legend home areas, we have decided to
begin archiving abandoned homes and reclaim the locations for new construction.
The details of this policy are:
* Characters that have not logged in for over a decade will be eligible to have
their homes archived. These locations will then be made available for new
construction.
* Archiving will be done in batches as needed, and requests to archive a
particular home in order to claim that location will not be entertained.
* Characters who wish to have their archived homes rebuilt must unretire and
make a post on the legend home board. Rebuilding will be done free of charge,
but characters are not guaranteed their old spots.
There will be one month grace period before we begin implementing this policy.
Players who wish to keep their legend homes open should make sure each
character has logged in within the past 10 years.
