SHADOW OF DEATH
When powerful legends die and
return to Arda it can happen they find themselves under a
weakening shadow. Those affected will find their
combat and magical abilites being greatly reduced.
Be warned, while under the shadow you will be very weak and should not take any risks by walking around in dangerous areas! Thus, it might be a smart thing to limit yourself to communicating or receiving equipment your group might have recovered from your former body.
In general, getting the Shadow of Death is more likely the higher the level of a character is.
