This spell summons a small animal that will follow you around and obey your commands. When it is not with you, you can still tell your familiar what it should do.

To master this skill, a brilliant mind, deep insight and an iron will are required.

Example:

  > cast 'call familiar'

You can communicate with your familiar via tell familiar. Among the commands the familiar understands are directions to walk (as north, south, etc.), look, exit, rest, or stand.

You can also abolish your familiar by telling it to leave.
